Created ENTIRELY and rendered in Cinema 4D - created the materials too - though I am still working on the gold - hmmmm - you know it is hard to make gold? Hehehe - it has a particular "sheen" to it as well as a VERY particular specular color - hmmmm - tell me what you think about the gold. More red? More orange? I do think I am gonna up the specularity and lessen the noise ;)

Looks pretty cool, I can see some obese alien emporor holding this as he attends an epic battle in some grand colosseum :XD:

The gold could use a bit more orange in it, this is a bit too yellow. When you go to the material editor, you may noticed that theres a variety of ones there ( clouds, wood, water etc ) If you got to the ones under "effects" or "surfaces" ( one of those two ) theres is an unusual metallic material called "Lumas" which is red by default, but if you change the colour of the material ( and its three speculars ) to shades of yellow/orange, you can get a good gold material.

Actually, I see more white. Sounds weird but it would reflect more and pull it up in sheen/shine a notch or two. Thats just my opinion though. I certainly don't know how to mix color in 3D or 4D or whatever D. Maybe double D. :rofl: (Did I really say that?)

I really like it. So are you going to make me a crown to go with it???? :eyes:

I tend to agree with Priteeboy's comment (though I haven't got a clue how your software works...). Purely from a color POV, it looks a little "brassy" and cold, perhaps, instead of the rich tones of a true gold. However, in the hands of an evil tyrant-alien, perhaps the cold brassiness isn't a bad choice - lol! Guess it all depends on context...
