Icarus 2 WIP 1

I have wanted to model this ship for quite a long period of time now, this is the Icarus 2 from the 2007 movie Sunshine starring Cillian Murphy and the lovely Rose Byrne (28 weeks later). [link]

This ship is an awesome challenge as it will have to be extremely detailed and high poly if it is to match fairly closely with what was in the movie. If you have not seen the movie yet, I highly recommend it.

On a modeling note... the framework for the main shield was a pain in the arse This is about three hours work here.
